Women's Leadership Meets Saturday at the Liberty Mtn. Conference Center
Leaders will be gathering on Saturday for an all day retreat to prepare their hearts for an exciting year in Women’s Ministry. Our theme this year is REACH: Love God … Love People based on Matt. 22:37-39 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
The mission of TRBC is “To change our world by developing Christ followers who love God and love people.” Our women’s groups have leaned into that mission and are asking the Lord to help us follow hard after Him.
Awaken, an all girl band, from Liberty University is part of the team. They will lead the group in worship for the retreat as they do every Tuesday night. Many of these women are going into ministry and they are investing themselves in the Kingdom while obtaining their degree.
Julie Nash, Linda Barrick, Lisa Bryant, Matt Willmington and Donna Barber will be sharing with the leadership team in the morning.
Afternoon Break Out Sessions Include:
“Facing Challenges During Group Time” – Dr. Jeanne Brooks
“Spiritual Warfare” – Tatiana Hartley
“Reach Hearts …Touch Lives” – Patsy Sanders
“Reaching through Insecurity” – Amber Carter
“Leaders Who Live in Tune with the Heart of God” – Julie Madbondo
Please be in prayer for our team as we ask God to direct our steps and have His way in the heart of our hearts before we reach out to the women of this community in the coming weeks.
If you would like to know more about being part of our team this year, please email lisab@trbc.org

Need a little "MOMSense"?

Debbie Miller, Lead Mentor Mom
MomSense is defined as Bold • Loving • Sensible – It equips moms to embrace their mothering instincts and develop their own parenting style while navigating through the myriad of daily mom decisions. MomSense reminds moms that they are the best mom for their kids and that they can develop contentment and confidence in their roles.

MOPS mentor moms
At the first TRBC MOPS meeting of the fall, Debbie Miller shared with the moms how to make decisions now that will yield future blessings. Debbie is “Grandy” to four beautiful grandchildren and the lead Mentor Mom in the Mops Program.
